Alignment and distribution

At the top of the right sidebar, you can find options for alignment and distribution: image.png

  • Align left
  • Align horizontal centers
  • Align right
  • Align top
  • Align vertical centers
  • Align bottom
  • Distribute vertical spacing
  • Distribute horizontal spacing

Resizing

When the file is open, by default, select the "Move tool", click the Dropdown icon (or use the shortcut: K), and you'll find the "Scale tool" for proportional scaling.

Resizing from the canvas

  • Drag any side of a shape to adjust its length or width. While dragging, press the Shift key to proportionally resize the layer's length and width.

  • If you want to change the aspect ratio of a shape, drag the corner.

  • Holding down Mac: Option / Windows: Alt, and dragging to resize the layer from the center outwards, rather than starting from the diagonal.

Resizing using keyboard

  • To resize the layer's width and height by 1px each time, you can use:
    • Mac: Command + Arrow keys
    • Windows: Ctrl + Arrow keys
  • To resize the layer by 10px each time, you can press:
    • Mac: Shift + Command + Arrow keys
    • Windows: Shift + Ctrl + arrow keys
