Boolean operations
Boolean operations can help us combine different shapes to create more complex forms.
In Creatie, boolean operations combine any set of shape layers through one of four formulas: union, subtract, intersect, and exclude.
-
Union: Union combines the selected shapes. The stroke would be applied to the outer path ignoring any path segments which overlap each other.
-
Subtract: Subtract removes the overlapping areas of the top shape. When two overlapping layers are selected, the area where the top layer overlap the bottom layer is subtracted.
-
Intersect: Intersect creates a new shape that is the overlapping area of two shapes.
-
Exclude: Exclude is the opposite of intersect. It shows only the areas of two layers that do not overlap.
