Sections

Creatie’s Section is a tool designed to organize and manage design contents. On the canvas, users can intuitively arrange and manage design elements by drawing and naming multiple sections.

Create a section:

Click on the dropdown box next to the frame tool in the top toolbar to switch to the Section Tool, or use Q to activate the Section Tool directly.
After activating the Section tool, there are two ways to draw a section:
- Click on the canvas to create a section with a fixed width and height of 496px x 496px
- Hold down the left mouse button and draw a section on the canvas with any desired width and height

Add objects to a section

There are a few ways to add objects to a section:

Move an object entirely into a section
Resize and reposition a section over an object

Set properties

Creatie supports setting properties of a section, such as width, height, position, corner radius, fill, and stroke.

Mark a section as ready for dev

This feature allows editors to mark a section as ready for dev. The marked section will have a separate display area in the Dev Mode.

To mark a section as ready for dev, select the section and click Mark as ready for dev.
To unmark a section as ready for dev, click Ready for Dev and then select "Remove" ready status.

Delete a section

To delete a section and its contents:

Select the section
Press Delete / Backspace

To delete a section without deleting its contents:

Select the section
Use the shortcut:
- Mac：Command + Shift + G
- Windows：Ctrl + Shift + G
