Alignment & distribution

With alignment and distribution, you can arrange layers in relation to other layers quickly.

At the top of the right sidebar, you can find options for alignment and distribution:

  • Align left
  • Align horizontal centers
  • Align right
  • Align top
  • Align vertical centers
  • Align bottom
  • Distribute vertical spacing
  • Distribute horizontal spacing

Smart arrangement

You can use the smart arrangement feature to quickly arrange multiple layers neatly and easily adjust their arrangement and spacing.

Smart arrangement works on selected layers overlap on the same axis and with equal spacing. Once you selected multiple layers, you can click the Tidy up icon in the properties panel or in the bottom right corner of the selection marquee to arrange selected layers and active the smart selection feature.

Pink linear control handles will appear between each layer when you hover over the Smart selection, allowing you to adjust the spacing between layers.

A pink circular selection handle appears in the center of each layer. Hold down the mouse and drag the handle to exchange the position of that layer with other layers within the Smart selection.
