Effects
You can enrich your design content using four types of effects in the right-side properties panel:
- Drop shadow
- Inner shadow
- Gaussian blur
- Background blur
Effects types
Drop shadow
Drop shadows can be configured with offset, blur radius, spread size, color, and blend mode.
When you add a drop shadow to a layer with a certain degree of transparency, the entire area of that layer will have a shadow effect by default. You can uncheck show shadow through transparent layers in the drop shadow settings panel, and the shadow effect will be added to the border of the layer.
Inner shadow
You can add an inner shadow effect to your layer, and configure it with offset, blur radius, spread size, color, and blend mode.
Gaussian blur
Adding a Gaussian blur effect to a selected layer will visually uniformly blur the layer that originally had clear edges.
Background blur
You can add a background blur to a layer (with a certain degree of transparency in its fill color). This will visually blur all layers behind that are within the selected layer's area, commonly used to create a frosted glass effect.
Note: The opacity of the layer's fill color needs to be set below 100% and above 0% for these effects to work.
