Rename layers

By giving your layers reasonable names, you can make your layer structure clearer. In Creatie, you can rename individual layers and rename multiple layers in bulk.

Rename a single layer

Creatie allows you to rename a layer both in the left-side layers panel and on the canvas:

  • In the left-side layers panel, double-click on the layer you want to rename and type in a new name, then click on a blank area or press Return / Enter to complete the modification.

  • On the canvas, hover over the name at the top left corner of the layer, double-click to rename.

Rename layers in bulk

Select multiple layers that need to be renamed in bulk, right-click on the left-side layers panel, and select Rename, or use the shortcut keys (Mac: Command + R / Windows: Ctrl + R) to open the rename layers in bulk panel.
